Your information
Privacy
This page explains, in plain English, what information masmentor.org collects and what we do with it. It is short because the honest answer is short.
Last updated August 2026.
What we collect
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ads, or other trackers. It collects information in one main way: the two application forms.
When you submit the Become a Mentor or Request a Mentor form, it sends us your name, email address, and cell phone number; your preferred way to be contacted, if you give one; the focus group you are interested in; your education and profession details; your state; your gender; and any message you write.
Both forms include a CV upload. It is required on the mentor form and optional on the mentee form.
Like nearly every website, our server also keeps standard access logs: IP addresses, browser type, and the times pages were visited. We keep these logs for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
We use what you send us for one purpose only: running the mentorship program. That means reviewing applications, pairing mentors and mentees, and replying to you.
Nothing is sold, rented, or shared for marketing. No third party receives your information, except the hosting provider that operates the server this site runs on.
Where it is stored
Application information and uploaded files are stored on our hosting provider's servers. They are kept outside the public website area, where visitors cannot reach them.
How long we keep it
We keep an application for as long as the mentoring relationship or the program needs it. You can write to us at any time to ask that we delete your application.
If you contact admin@masmentor.org by email, your message reaches us as ordinary email. Standard email handling applies.
Children
The program serves college and university students. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian reach out to us before you submit an application.
Changes
If this page needs to change, we will post the update here.
